Rocky Mountain Power Zeros the Credit for Solar Power

If a solar system generates more power than is needed to operate my house, the extra power is inserted into the grid, and Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) gives a credit for the extra power; this credit is used in the calculation of my monthly power bill. However, RMP zeros out the credit given for surplus solar power after my power bill for March is calculated (usually about 7-10 days into the month). Because of the removal of this credit, I'm essentially giving a portion of my solar power free to the power company, Thus, I'm trying to adjust my power consumption during February and the first part of March such that I have a low or no credit for surplus power. During the remainder of the year, I will be trying to accumulate as much credit as possible so that credit will help pay for the power taken from the grid during air conditioning during the summer and low power generation during the winter.
