Yea: longer days

Today is the first day of winter, which means the days will be getting longer, and the amount of power generated by my solar system should be greater. The downside, of course, is that winter means colder temperatures, causing me to use more natural gas for heat and more electricity to run the furnace controls and fan. It will probably be close to February before the increase in power from my solar system is significant.
