I've recalculated the number of Kwh needed per day so the solar power cancels the power taken from the grid, and the figure for both January (31 days) and February (28 days) is 15 Kwh, not the 20 that I've previously reported in this blog. The 20 figure came from a guess while the 15 figure came from accurate calculations. The figure, however, is rounded to a whole kwh to make it easy to report and discuss the figure.
As soon as I turn off the furnace, I will need to recalculate the figure, since less power will be taken from the grid. And, as soon as I turn on the central air conditioner, I will need to recalculate the figure, since more power will be taken from the grid.
