Clouds and rain today - not much solar power

I just returned from reading my net meter and calculating my excess solar power. Currently I have 103 Kwh excess solar power. Yesterday, the excess was 130 Kwh. The excess has gone down for two reasons. Yesterday I read the net meter in the afternoon while my solar system was generating power. Today, I read the meter in the morning before the solar cells had a chance to replace grid power that was used during the evening and last night. Also, today is a cloudy and rainy day, and the solar system isn't generating much power (so far today, the solar system has generated about 1 Kwh compared to about 5 Kwh on a sunny day). Tomorrow will be another cloudy day, and the excess power will go down to about 70. Then the rest of the week will be sunny, and the solar cells will generate more energy. I'll keep my space heater going during the day for the next several days. The power company should read the net meter on Thursday, and I'll probably have around 80 or 90 Kwh of excess power that will be lost when the power company zeros the excess power.

Later: Due to clouds, my solar system generated 10.4 Kwh today. On a sunny day, the solar power would have been about 40 Kwh.
